We believe that Christian discipleship is the process by which followers of Christ have growing faith. This requires that we be in the Word daily — studying it, praying over it, and obeying it.
Here at First Presbyterian, we offer several opportunities to grow in Christ. For more information on any of these opportunities, contact Associate Pastor Scott Thayer.
Sunday School classes are held for all ages at 10:15 a.m. every Sunday. Children are divided into classes based on age and grade. For adults, there are a number of topics from which to chose. Those topics change about every four to six weeks.
Wednesday Night Children’s Programs
On Wednesdays throughout the school year, we hold JAM Jr., JAM and 45 Club, three groups for children in preschool through fifth grade. These groups meet for Bible lessons, recreation, music, and snacks. They begin at 4 p.m. and end at 6 p.m.
Several small groups gather throughout the week for study, prayer, fellowship and service. Some groups meet in homes; others meet at the church building. We have small groups for adults and youth.
