Nearly three dozen of our youth dug into God’s word, worshipped together, enjoyed fellowship, and served the community during a retreat held in town November 10-12.

It’s summer, and school is out, so First Presbyterian is giving youth several extra opportunities for fellowship and service during the summer months. Rising sixth graders are welcome to join us and be welcomed to our ministry.
A new unit of adult Sunday school classes begins Sunday, with topics including marriage, the attributes of God and sessions on specific books of the Bible.
First Presbyterian is on mission this summer in Cuba. The church will be sending 15 high school students and 15 adults on an intergenerational mission trip for a week in July.
Billy Craig’s passion is Jesus. “I want to see people come to trust Him as Lord and Savior, and be a part of bringing His lost children home,” he wrote in the introductory sentence of the resume he sent to First Presbyterian. We’re glad to have Billy’s passion as part of our ministry team. On Sept. 1, he began work as the church’s associate pastor for youth and evangelism.
