You see, in many ways most of us have been living like, and perhaps even hoping that, God has merely pushed a “pause” button and that soon things will go back to “normal.”  Yet as the “pause” drags on, I’ve begun to think that perhaps God has pushed the “reset” button.

  2. Courtyard update: some delays, some opportunities

    The Courtyard Committee continues to move ahead with plans to finish First Presbyterian’s first outdoor space. Although the initial finish date was the end of this month, several issues slowed the project down. The delay, however, has provided some exciting new options.

  3. Courtyard construction starting soon

    During the Covid-19 crisis, the courtyard committee has continued work on our newly opened space adjacent to the church. After the building at 11 Court Square was demolished in March, the committee was able to fully assess the scope of the project, and courtyard construction will begin soon.

  6. Slideshow: 2017 Pig Roast

    More than 200 people attended the annual Pig Roast at Brix & Columns, a beautiful venue owned and operated by Steve and Stephanie Pence. Many thanks to them for their hospitality and to all who helped make this event a great time of fellowship for our church family and friends. The intergenerational cornhole tournament featured more than 20 teams, and the trophy this year belongs to Will Craig and Mark Graham. Enjoy these photos from the event, courtesy of Steve Zumbro.
